The age of the smartphone means that everyone is a photographer these days.
So how do you make your images stand out from the crowd?
Have a steady hand – or rest your mobile on a nearby support to keep it as still as possible. This will help to reduce blur and maximise the amount of light coming through to the lens.
Make the most of natural lighting – by paying attention to where the light is coming from. If your friends are squinting from the sun beaming into their eyes, try moving so that they are lit from a 90degree angle instead. Early morning and late afternoon tend to be the best times to get your shots and don’t forget that cloudy days mean lots of diffused, flattering light!
Clean the lens – being thrown in bags and carried around in pockets means that the lens on your mobile could probably do with a clean. Any marks or spots on the lens will interfere with your shot so give it a wipe with a cloth before you start snapping.
Use a high-definition zoom – giving your smartphone super-zoom powers will mean great photos of distant subjects without annoying pixelated results. Using a High-Definition Zoom Mobile Lens is a super easy way to get great photos, every time!
